Shoes are protective covering for the feet. Not only do shoes give protection to our feet, they also improve our appearance and give fitting to our legs. Shoes are of different kinds, and for different purposes. Your place of assignment and your kind of assignment determines the kind of shoes you're putting on.

As a Soldier for Christ, what kind of shoes should you put on?

Ephesians 6:15

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [KJV]

and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [NIV]

You are to fit your feet with shoes that are ready, willing happy to share the good news of peace! Shoes that can increase your speed and keep you going.

What kind of shoe are you currently wearing?

Are you putting on a high-heeled shoe that makes walking difficult talk less of adding speed?

Or are you putting on slippers that you drag along as you walk and inherently slows you down?

Is your shoe so expensive that there are some places you can't step with it?

Or are you putting on a spike that pushes you forward and increases your pace?

Do you become lazy and scared when it comes to evangelism? And you sit back and say it is the work of the evangelists and pastors?

Change your attitude today! Fit your feet with the readiness and preparedness that comes with the gospel of peace - shoes that have the capacity to speed you on as you preach the Good News of peace!

You know, if you choose not to put on any shoe at all, your feet will get injured and you will not be able to stand again.... what is the use of a soldier that cannot stand on the battlefield?

Ensure you are ready at all times and in all places to preach the Good News!
